northwestern Connecticut.
Tourism is the prime industry in the Great Barrington area, stimulated by

offerings; local artisans and crafters; and a healthy complement of service
oriented restaurants, B&B's, and small inns. Skiing, fall foliage, summer
culture, and the beauty of a Berkshire spring, carry tourism throughout the
four seasons.

Southwestern Massachusetts, bordered by Egremont and Alford on the west; Lee,

Barrington is about 20 miles south of Pittsfield, 47 miles west of Springfield,
135 miles west of Boston, and 125 miles from New York City.
